This pair of 22kt antique gold bangles is wide, sculptural and full of fine detail. Each band alternates between panels of curling gold swirls with granulated beads and panels of smooth gold cushions set with small sculpted rosettes, all edged with delicate filigree scrolls and twisted gold borders. Round Kundan medallions with red petals around a green centre, framed by a halo of tiny white stones, sit at the front, with white and pink Kundan clusters at the sides. A hinge lets the bangles open for easy wear, and the inner band is finished in openwork.
