Each wide band is a deep openwork garden of sculpted gold birds, flowers, leaves and fine granulation, framed by engraved gold rims. At the front, a medallion of white pear-shaped stones in sparkling white halos surrounds a cluster of small coloured stones, pink on one bangle and green on the other, so the pair looks beautifully coordinated rather than identical.
